On Sunday, November 8th, the team at Auberge du Pommier whisked 75 guests away on a culinary journey to France’s Loire Valley. As part of the Visa Infinite Fall Dining Series, this elegant event provided cardholders with a truly memorable brunch experience.

Inspired by the “Garden of France”, O&B Corporate Executive Chef Anthony Walsh, along with Chefs Julie Marteleira (Auberge du Pommier) and Amanda Ray (Biff’s Bistro), prepared a multi-course meal featuring applewood-smoked sturgeon, poached eggs in red wine sauce, and tarte tatin. Their cooking highlighted some of the best flavours of the season, such as caramelized figs, honeyed parsnips, and burnt almond ice cream. Each course was perfectly paired with a different Loire Valley wine.

Many thanks to Visa for making this special brunch experience possible – we look forward to planning the next culinary adventure!
